Žiga holds a degree in History and Geography from the University of Ljubljana. He obtained his MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw). He gathered work experience during the preparation of the Slovene EU Presidency and worked for the Commission’s communication service Europe Direct Contact Centre in Brussels. Žiga is native in Slovene and German, speaks fluent English and French and has a good level in Dutch and “Serbo-Croatian”. He joined EUK in October 2012.
