Brussels Office

Tom became a Director of EUK in January 2012 and was appointed Head of the EUK Brussels Office in February 2018. Tom is a graduate of French and Politics from the University of Glasgow. Tom worked in a Brussels-based Trade Association and completed internships in the European Parliament and a social NGO before joining EUK in April 2007. Alongside his native English, Tom speaks fluent French and German.

Sean Murray has over 35 years’ experience in communications and public affairs with multinational companies in a variety of business sectors. His early career included five years in sales with an international shipping company. Between 1987 and 1990, Sean held senior positions in corporate communications with GE (USA) and Unisys. He joined the Brussels office of Philip Morris in 1991 handling media relations, internal communications and lobbying. He was appointed Director EU Government Relations in 1999. Sean joined EUK in 2003 to set up its Brussels office. He is fluent in French, German and Italian having taught modern languages and worked in a number of European countries.

Frida joined EUK in January 2015. Previously she worked on an information project for the European Parliament elections, and completed internships in the European Parliament and a Brussels-based business confederation. Frida holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from University College Dublin and a MSc in International Relations and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg. She speaks Swedish (native), English and German.

Marc joined EUK Consulting in July 2016, having previously worked for an international environmental NGO in Brussels. Prior to that, he completed traineeships both with an MEP in Brussels and an MP in Westminster. Marc holds an MSc in Politics and Government in the EU from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent. He speaks English, French and Italian.

Emese joined EUK Consulting in August 2017. She had previously completed a traineeship at the European Parliament and gained experience in the non-profit sector whilst working for a Hungarian NGO. Emese holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. She speaks Hungarian and English, and understands German.

Johannes joined EUK Consulting in January 2020. Prior to joining EUK, he worked at the European Policy Centre in Brussels. Previously, he also completed a traineeship at the European Parliament and an internship at a Berlin-based think tank specialising in European politics. Johannes holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and a Bachelor´s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Passau. He speaks German (native), English and French.

Lara joined EUK Consulting in October 2021. Prior to joining EUK, she has worked at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Beirut. She also completed traineeships both at the European Parliament and the Red Cross EU Office in Brussels. Lara holds a Master’s degree in International Development with a specialization in International Conflict and Security from the University of Kent – Brussels School of International Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut. Lara speaks English, French, Arabic and understands Spanish.

Eirini joined EUK Consulting in April 2022. Prior to joining EUK, she has completed traineeships at the European Parliament, Embassy of Greece in London and Hellenic Parliament. Eirini holds a Master’s degree in European and International Public Policy from London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in European and International Studies from University of Piraeus. Eirini speaks English, French and Greek and understands Spanish.

Lila joined EUK Consulting in September 2022. She was previously working in a trade association in Brussels. She also completed internships at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Paris and in a Paris-based public affairs agency. Lila holds a Master’s degree in European Public Affairs from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Master’s degree in Policies of International Cooperation and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from Sciences Po Saint-Germain-En-Laye. She speaks French (native), English and Italian.

David joined EUK in September 2022. He has previously worked in public policy at the Council of Europe, as a trainee in the European Commission and for the French Government. David holds a Master’s Degree in European Affairs and Public Policy by Sciences Po Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Euro-Latin American Studies by Sciences Po Paris as well. David speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese and is currently learning Russian.

Caroline joined EUK in October 2019. A graduate of Fine Arts, she has previously worked as a business centre manager at Topos, an internal panel manager at Euroconsultant, and a Call Center agent at Base – Belgian Telecom. In 2004, she started a b2b company selling luxury stationery and business luggage products, collaborating with brands such as Paperblanks, Giorgio Fedon and Visconti pens, before the sale of the company in 2010. She speaks English, French and Dutch.
